So, the current study was hypothesized that Trichoderma harzianum maize biochar (MBT), and maize biochar zinc oxide nanocomposite (MB-ZnO) could effectively stabilize Cd and Cu in a polluted soil and evaluate their synergistic effects on Sesbania sesban L. El segundo estudio (PMID 34882276) evaluó el efecto de alimentar a corderos con Sesbania sesban y grama de caña sobre el rendimiento de crecimiento, parámetros sanguíneos y calidad de la carne. Se trató de un estudio experimental in vivo con veintiún corderos machos distribuidos en tres grupos. Además, el uso de forraje de Sesbania disminuyó el área del músculo ojo de bife y la fuerza de corte, pero mejoró los parámetros de color de la carne y la jugosidad. Sin embargo, la adición de carbón activado fortaleció el sistema antioxidante de la planta, aumentando la capacidad antioxidante y mejorando la biomasa y el contenido de clorofila. La co-aplicación de los materiales aumentó las enzimas antioxidantes (SOD en de forma significativa y POD en de forma significativa).
Seguridad y Precauciones
La seguridad en el uso de Sesbania sesban es un tema que requiere cautela debido a la falta de estudios clínicos extensos en humanos. En cuanto al embarazo y la lactancia, no existe evidencia científica suficiente que garantice la inocuidad de esta planta en mujeres gestantes o lactantes. Debido a que los compuestos fitoquímicos de la familia Fabaceae pueden tener efectos hormonales o teratogénicos (capacidad de causar malformaciones en el feto) no cuantificados, se desaconseja su consumo durante estas etapas. No hay datos que aseguren que los metabolitos secundarios de la planta no se transfieran a través de la leche materna, por lo que la precaución es la norma. Para niños menores de 12 años, el uso debe evitarse estrictamente. Los sistemas fisiológicos en desarrollo, especialmente los órganos renales y hepáticos, son más susceptibles a toxinas o compuestos bioactivos que podrían interferir con el crecimiento normal o el desarrollo metabólico.
