Los siguientes estudios han investigado la relación entre Saxifraga stellaris y estrés oxidativo:
Targeted isolation of 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl inhibitors from Saxifraga atrata and their antioxidant activities.
Saxifraga atrata is an important traditional Tibetan medicine used to treat cough and pneumonia, and has tremendous medicinal potential. In this study, we devised a technique to separate 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl inhibitors from a methanol extract of S. atrata. The material was first processed using MCI GEL CHP20P medium-pressure liquid chromatography, yielding 1.1 g of the target fraction Fr2. Subsequently, online hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography-1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl assay was used to identify prospective 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl inhibitors, and two 1,1-diphenyl
PubMed: 35512260Composition, antibacterial and antioxidant activities of Pimpinella saxifraga essential oil and application to cheese preservation as coating additive.
The effect of Pimpinella saxifraga essential oil (PSEO) addition (1-3%) in sodium alginate coating on the bacterial and oxidative stability of cheese was studied during refrigerated storage. The GC-HRMS analysis of PSEO showed that anethole, pseudoisoeugenol and p-anisaldehyde were the main components. The PSEO exhibited strong in vitro DPPH radical scavenging activity (IC

Emerging focus on cosmetic safety has propelled exploration of plant-derived whitening agents. Saxifraga stolonifera, a traditional Chinese herb, was investigated for its whitening potential through its ethanol extract (S. stolonifera extract [SSE]). The main components were determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-Q-TOF-MS/MS. In vitro analyses, antioxidant activity and tyrosinase (TYR) inhibition of SSE were revealed.
PubMed: 40616833Symbiotic microbes of Saxifraga stellaris ssp. alpigena from the copper creek of Schwarzwand (Austrian Alps) enhance plant tolerance to copper.
Saxifraga stellaris var. alpigena grows as one of the very few higher plants in the copper rich area of the "blue creek" in Austria. Two endophytes were isolated from it: Mortierella sp. (fungus), and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (bacterium). Both microbes were practically inseparable due to resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotics tested.
PubMed: 31029964Two Olean-27-carboxylic Acid-Type Triterpenoids as Chemical Markers Isolated from Saxifraga umbellulata.
Two olean-27-carboxylic acid-type triterpenoids (1 and 2) were isolated from Saxifraga umbellulata (Saxifragaceae), representing the first case in the chemical discoveries of genus Saxifraga. Compound 1 was determined to be a new compound named 'Saxifragic acid' based on the comprehensive spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic analyses. Compound 2 (deacetylated saxifragic acid) is a known compound reported before, but its absolute configuration through X-ray crystallographic analyses was first described here. In addition, their cytotoxicity against five digestive human cancer cell lines (BGC

Seguridad y Precauciones
